About us

We Are BRIDGING the development gaps.

At BASA Development Initiatives (BDI), we are dedicated to transforming lives and cultivating change. Founded by a group of devoted young Liberians, our mission is to propel the developmental journey of Liberia by addressing comprehensive challenges within agriculture, health, education, and the environment with a focus on women and youth inclusion.

Regardless of their background or circumstances, everyone has immense potential to contribute to society’s progress. By focusing on women, youth, and the less privileged, we aim to tap into this underutilized potential to provide resources, skills, and opportunities that foster self-sufficiency, igniting transformational change that resonates far beyond the individual to their families and communities.

MENSTRUAL HYGIENE FOR TEENAGE GIRLS IN UNDERSERVED LIBERIAN COMMUNITIES

In four counties, over 20,000 girls face disrupted education due to a lack of menstrual hygiene knowledge and resources. We aim to address this by providing crucial education and safe menstrual products. Your contributions empower these girls, keeping them in school and transforming their futures.
